Every year people make New Year’s resolutions to stick to throughout the year which can be from losing weight to saving money, data shows that most people don’t start their New Year’s resolutions until the third week into January. The most popular New Year’s resolution for 2015 is lose weight and go to the gym.

For the people who are going to join the gym for the first time studies have shown that it can take about 66 days to get into a habit of going to the gym according to 2009 study researched by university of college London.

Here at Camille we are going to help you kick start your keep fit resolution with 10 helpful tips.

1: Make sure you eat a healthy balanced diet which includes lots of fruit and vegetables.

2: Try and swap White Bread, Pasta and Rice for whole grains.

3: Drink plenty of water (2 Litres).

4: Make sure you go to the gym or work out at least 3 times a week.

5: Avoid processed food as they are full of oils and fats.

6: Eat Moderate size portions of food.

7: Set a goal so then you have something to work towards.

8: Make sure you eat protein as it builds up and repairs muscles.

9: Don’t forget to have low fat or fat free dairy products as it helps build and maintain strong bones.

10: Try adding less salt when cooking your meals or cut it healthy-eatingout completely.
